Pic-n-Save just re-opened on the San Diego baseball marketplace again as Padres’ GM Kevin Towers went shopping The Padres signed Relief Pitcher Duaner Sanchez for 700,000 and plugs up a hole in the pen. I really like this acquisition as Sanchez will solidify the bullpen and there is more help on the way. You might ask me, how do i know? Well in truth, I don’t know but given Towers track record. I don’t foresee Kevin standing pat and there may be a trade in the workings. The Padres should be competitive this year despite all of the national and local dismal projected outlook.
