On a glorius Easter Sunday afternoon, the Padres defeated Giants 6 – 1 and Chris Young went 7 innings to register his 2nd win of the year. Padres’ LF Chase Headley ripped a 2-run homer into the short porch in right field in the 3rd inning to put the Padres ahead 3 – 0. From there the Padres never looked back, leading the assault was C Nick Hundley who went 4 for 4. In back-to-back games, the Padres catchers have combined 7 for 8 with 2 hrs and 3 rbi’s. Padres Win Again ! and Big MO continues to hang around Petco Park for another day.

Now, it’s onto New York to open up Citi Field which will be an exciting day for both the players on the Padres and Mets. As the Padres will be the visitors breaking in Citi Field, it will be time for the players to be taking it to the streets with enormous amount of first’s in Citi Field.
