Good Morning Padres and Baseball Fans throughout the world. On this early Sunday morning before the Padres take the field in the 3rd game of a 4 game series with the defending World Champions Phillies, I thought I would share some history about the names of teams. I think anyone who is a baseball fanatic and loves the history of baseball would like to view this video that was produced by Yellowstone Ritter called ‘Rollies Baseball Follies’. Now, back to the Pre-game notes for today’s game. The Padres have decided to have Josh Greer make the start for the injured Walter Silva. Last year, Greer went 2 – 1 and showed alot of promise, though this past spring Greer did not fare well and was eventually sent back to the minors. The question will be can Greer keep the Phillies off-balance and the ball in the park ? In a few hours, we will all find out including the Padres Front Office. Let’s Go Padres !
