Well, this current losing streak of 9 games is getting old. Last year, the Padres had a 10 game losing streak almost at the exact time of year. In addition, the 2008 team had collapsed during the final weekend of the season only to lose to Rockies in the one game playoff game. Where does this all lead to ? Well, the Manager has been Buddy Black and does Buddy have what it takes to stir up the clubhouse ? No losing streak should be acceptable, I could cut some slack maybe one steak of 5-9 games every 6th year. Don’t get me wrong but two consecutive years with major losing streaks of 9 and 10 games ? Ummm, this is a representation of management in the clubhouse. I pose a question out there to the fans. What would you do if you were the Manager ? Better yet, what would you do if you were the General Manager ?

As the Padres continues to lose, even the crows begins to fly away from Petco Park as for any true baseball, we can not accept this losing steak mentality. With that being said, here’s a blues music video by Eric Sardinas called “As the Crow Flies”. Someone in the clubhouse please start a fight or do something to rock the clubhouse. Shake it up, losing is not acceptable.
